# Version 1.45

## ✨ Enhancements

### 🔍 Updated Message Search

We overhauled the core search experience to ensure that whether you are performing a surgical investigation or a broad sweep of your environment, the data you need is always a keystroke away.

* **Universal Search (⌘K)**: You can now trigger a message search from anywhere in the platform. Use the global search bar or the ⌘K shortcut to find a specific message without losing your place in your current workflow.

* **Prompt Search**: You shouldn't have to be an expert in MQL (Material Query Language) to find what you need. Simply describe the messages you’re looking for in plain English, and Material will automatically generate the corresponding query.

**Note**: This feature is not available for customers who have opted out of Material’s GenAI capabilities.
{% endhint %}

* **Structured Form Search**: For high-precision lookups, use the new form-based interface to search by specific attributes like To, From, Subject, and Message ID.

  <figure><img src="https://3411262179-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FksjM8NywYRSHu1IlfxdP%2Fuploads%2Fb7jwg4ZjQaw7Z4oRAgAr%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=fd185d39-b30a-41a1-bf84-0a2fbb4e1047" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
* **Sensitive Category Search**: You can now query by sensitive categories directly, allowing you to quickly surface messages that match specific data loss or risk tags.

### 🛡️ Expanded Remediation & "Related To" Filters

As attackers shift their tactics beyond the inbox, we’re expanding our remediation toolkit to follow them.

* **"Related To" Entity Filter**: Gain better context on how threats impact your organization. The new "Related To" filter allows you to search the Issues list for any entity—Account, Group, or App—to see issues where they are either the primary focus or have a second-degree association.

* **Email Threat Report Enhancements**: We updated the Sankey diagrams in our [Threat Reports](/email-protections/email-threats/report.md) with clearer labels regarding message consolidation. You’ll now see a specific callout for the average number of messages bundled into each Email Threat Issue.

### 📈 Detections & Framework Updates

We refined our detection logic to ensure severity levels accurately reflect the modern threat landscape.

* **Severity Rubric Realignment**: We updated default detection severities to align with our newly published [**Detection Severity Framework**.](/detections/detections-overview/detection-severity-framework.md)
* **Model Tuning**: This release includes performance tuning for our phishing detection models and expanded deterministic rules to increase coverage across new attack vectors.

***

## 🐛 Fixed

* **Account Detail View**: Resolved an issue where the detail view was filtered to active issues only; it now correctly displays all issues associated with an account.
* **VIP List Management**: Resolved an issue that cleared VIP designations when the VIP list was updated

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.material.security/whats-new/previous-releases/version-1.45.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
