# Export

Use Event Subscriptions to configure Material to notify you about many different events, including the creation or update of Issues and Detections.

You can also use Event Subscriptions for Detections and Issues to integrate with your existing, downstream workflows. This ensures timely notifications to the right people and sending information to a SIEM (Security Information and Event Management).

{% hint style="success" %}
To create an Event Subscription, you need the [Superadmin or Tenant Admin role](/learn-more/administration/admin-roles.md).
{% endhint %}

Create Event Subscriptions to notify your team when Detections and Issues are created and updated:

1. From the toolbar, click **Integrations** <img src="/files/c7JeVp0YfE728JWrKbmA" alt="" data-size="line">.
2. From the left navigation, expand **Events** then click **Subscriptions.**
3. Click **Create Subscription.**
4. Choose **Detection Change** or **Issue Change** then set parameters using the reference to the right as a guide.

5. Choose to filter the Event to only Detections or Issues that match your desired event-specific options.
6. **Test** then **Save** your event.

Events send to your destination for any future matches once you save. To edit your event, from the event subscription page open the event and make changes.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.material.security/getting-started/fundamentals/export.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
